Frequently asked questions
Do I need to launch a new token?
No. Connect an existing token on Solana or Pons / Robinhood Chain. Registration configures a community, its holder threshold and API budget. It does not mint, list or create a pool.
Why connect a wallet to get an API key?
A signature proves control of the wallet without moving funds. The server then checks terms acceptance and confirmed token holdings before issuing a personal Trident key. Eligibility is checked again for inference. The upstream OpenRouter key is never issued to users.
Does holding more tokens increase my allowance?
No. The community's wallet allowance is shared across all keys owned by that wallet. Funding, community and global caps also apply.
Does an OpenRouter balance automatically fund my community?
No. Provider credit is capacity. The community needs a recorded allocation backed by available provider credit. Contributions first require a confirmed transaction, then operator conversion, provider top-up and activation.
Why are the charts empty?
History starts with real observations and actual activity. A new deployment has no historic activity. Credentials are required for the provider balance; a missing credential is shown as unavailable, not a zero balance.
Is the token pegged to an API price?
No. The registration records a dated model price reference. It does not peg, support or guarantee the token's market price. API usage uses current provider tariffs and applicable limits.
Is Trident affiliated with the displayed providers?
Provider and wallet marks identify integrations and model authors. They do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, token approval or issuer verification.
Can the terms remove every liability?
No. Disclosures explain the service and its limitations, but cannot override mandatory rights, duties or the facts of how the service operates. Read the terms, risk disclosures and jurisdiction-specific considerations.
