Live data and chart methodology

The default read-only sample is UBIK at 0x812486EAea648819853F8E372dc9f1516C7868Bd on Robinhood Chain. Its identity is read from the token contract and its Pons factory record, not inferred from its ticker. The featured image was observed on the token’s Pons page and is not generated.

Change FEATURED_TOKEN_ADDRESS, provide the correct authentic FEATURED_TOKEN_IMAGE_URL, and restart the app to use your own Pons contract. Keep FEATURED_TOKEN_IS_TEST=true until the sample is replaced. Changing it to false changes the label, not the token’s authenticity or issuer verification.

This setting changes only the observatory. It does not migrate community balances, API keys or an existing community’s access token. Register a new community deliberately for a new CA so accounting and user access are not silently rewritten.

Chain observations

The service checks chain ID 4663 and reads one confirmed block for the token metadata, total supply, factory registration and pool or curve state. It returns the block number, hash, timestamp and observation time. A short cache avoids repeated public RPC load.

For a bonding curve, displayed spot price is the virtual quote reserve divided by virtual token reserve after decimal normalization. The virtual quote reserve is not the same as withdrawable real liquidity. Real quote reserve, when available, is separately identified.

For a graduated v4 pool, the app derives the factory’s pool key, reads StateView’s square-root price and applies token ordering and decimals. The displayed quote asset can be ETH or a tokenized asset. It is not labelled USD unless a genuine USD conversion source is implemented. Transitional phases can have no available price.

A spot price is not an executable quote. Fees, creator taxes, slippage, transfer behavior, price impact and subsequent block changes affect an actual trade. The observatory performs no swap.

Price observation chart

The chart begins when this installation starts observing the configured token. It stores one observation per token and block, retains up to 30 days locally and displays the latest 180 records. No background polling occurs without a page or process requesting data. Empty periods do not imply a constant market price.

It is an observation-index line: points are evenly spaced in observation order, with actual timestamps available in tooltips and the exact-values table. It is not an OHLC chart or a claim of uniformly sampled time. No 24-hour return, volume or market-cap statistic is synthesized from a partial record.

Model price chart

The model chart selects the six newest catalogue entries with known nonnegative token tariffs by the provider’s published creation timestamp and plots input/output USD prices per million API tokens using a common zero-based scale. Numbers come from OpenRouter’s models endpoint, normally cached for up to 60 seconds.

If a cached catalogue is shown after upstream failure, it is labelled stale. Transaction preparation and paid inference require a fresh available catalogue. Additional request-level charges are shown in launch metadata and included in request reservations rather than silently folded into per-million rates.

Community usage chart

Community costs come from settled local accounting, grouped by request creation day in UTC. Unresolved reservations are shown separately. The chart does not equate token trading volume with API spending and does not claim that every recorded request completed successfully.

Sources and limits

Public RPCs can time out or throttle. The interface displays an error instead of substituting fabricated values. If a previous observation remains visible after failure, it is labelled stale. For production, configure a dedicated authenticated RPC server-side.

Indexed fallback

When confirmed RPC reads cannot be completed, the display can fetch the token's public Pons page. It validates the expected page structure and numeric fields, marks the data as indexed and not independently verified, and detects the publisher's degraded-performance notice. The publisher does not supply a usable observation timestamp here, so retrieval time is not labelled as market-data time. Indexed snapshots are not mixed into the confirmed-block chart.

The default configuration selects the indexed display because the public RPC was unavailable during validation. Select FEATURED_DATA_SOURCE=rpc with a reachable dedicated RPC for confirmed-block reads. This choice affects only the observatory; holder checks always require the real chain.

The directory includes every public OpenRouter model across all output modalities, including free variants and routing aliases. Variable or missing token prices are excluded from price charts instead of being drawn as zero. Non-text profiles show the complete source pricing fields; token price bars are not a total estimate for image, video or audio output. See API model profiles for catalogue and gateway eligibility rules.
